Boiling Springs Cabin

    Boiling Springs Campground is located north of Garden Valley along the Middle Fork of the Payette River. It is just a short walk away from Boiling Springs geothermal hot springs.
    Nearby is Boiling Springs Cabin, a two-room cabin that can sleep up to six people on four beds and a couch. It was constructed in 1934 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and was used to watch for wildfires. Tents, recreational vehicles and livestock are not allowed at this site.

Prices:
    $12 per night for the campground
    $5 per night per extra vehicle
    $6 per vehicle for day use
    $50 per night at the cabin

Reservations: The cabin can be reserved at www.recreation.gov.

Directions: From Crouch, Idaho, drive north 24 miles on Forest Road 698 to the campground. The cabin is just past the campground on the same road. Click here for a map.

Amenities: Four beds, a couch, a wood stove and a propane stove in the cabin. There is no drinking water or refrigerator at the cabin, and there are no dishes, pans or utensils. The campground has drinking water and a vault toilet.

Open dates: The cabin is open from mid-May to mid-February; winter access is by snowmobile. The campground is open from mid-May to near the end of September.
