Agua Piedra Campground

    Agua Piedra Campground is on NM 518 next to the Rio Pueblo near Tres Ritos, NM. There are 47 tent and RV sites and two group shelters. The group sites are available for reservations. The campground is generally open from mid-May to Labor Day. The group shelters can be reserved through September. Construction to repair the water line, replace bathrooms will begin in late July 2010 and last for about 45 days. Except for one group site, the campground will be closed during construction.

Prices:
    $15 per night
    $5 per extra vehicle
    $8 for day use
    $60 for group area reservations up to 75 people

Reservations: The group shelters can be reserved 360 days in advance at the Agua Piedra page at www.recreation.gov. Fees start at $50 for groups up to 50 and the sites can accommodate as many as 100 people.
