June Bug Campground

    June Bug Campground is only a half-mile west of Red River, N.M., the perfect camp site for visiting this rustic resort town. If you're in town for any of the town's summer events -- from the motorcycle rally on Memorial Day weekend to the fall celebration in October -- June Bug gives you quick access to the shops and restaurants of this old resort town with a mining history. The campground itself has 22 sites, 21 of which can accommodate RVs. It is at 8,500 feet elevation and next to the Red River, a good trout fishery.
