Blue Spruce Campground

    This campground is located next to a trout stream in a spruce forest. At an elevation of 7,800 feet, the normal operating season is from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The campground has five single sites and one double site. There is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out policy for garbage management at this campground; however, there is a dumpster located on Posey Lake Road.

Prices:
    $8 for a single family site.
    $4 for each extra vehicle.
    
Reservations: First come, first served. No sites can be reserved at this campground.

Directions: From Escalante, Utah, take the Hell's Backbone Road (Forest Road 153) 17 miles

Nearby: Hiking in the Box-Death Hollow Wilderness and on the Great Western Trail, fishing in
     Blue Spruce Creek or Pine Creek, driving Hell's Backbone or Highway 12.
