Coyote Hollow Equestrian Campground

    The Coyote Hollow Equestrian Campground is located at 7,700 feet at the top of Red Canyon among ponderosa pine. The normal operating season is from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out policy for garbage management at this campground. 

Prices:
    $8 per vehicle.
    
Reservations: First come, first served. No sites can be reserved at this campground.

Directions: From Panguitch, Utah, take U.S. 89 south 7 miles to Scenic Highway 12. Drive east to
     the top of Red Canyon, then south 2 miles on Forest Road 30117. Click here for a map of

Amenities: Vault toilets, eight hitching posts and four hydrants of non-potable water for horse use.

Nearby: The Coyote Hollow Trailhead, the eastern end of the Thunder Mountain Trail, a hiking,
     biking and horseback riding trail. Or drive Scenic Highway 12, or visit Bryce Canyon National
     Park.
