Antelope Boat Ramp
Antelope Annex Campground
These two campgrounds have recently been improved, Antelope in 2000 and Antelope Annex in 2005, and now can accommodate mid-sized recreational vehicles. The campgrounds are across the road from each other on Sagehen Reservoir, 45 miles north of Emmett, Idaho. The Antelope Boat Ramp is attached to Antelope Campground.
$15 per night at either campground
$5 per extra vehicle
$8 for day use
$5 per vehicle at the boat ramp
$60 for the group site
Reservations: Several sites at Antelope Campground can be reserved at www.recreation.gov.
Directions: From Emmett, drive 12 miles north on Idaho State Road 52 and turn left onto the Sweet/Ola Road. Drive 17 miles north to Ola, where the pavement ends, then take National Forest Road 618 10 miles to National Forest Road 626. Take NF-626 seven miles to NF-614. Then take NF-614 1.5 miles to the campground. Beyond Ola, the road is mostly gravel, and it can be driven in a passenger car during dry weather. Scroll down for map.
Amenities: Vault toilets. Drinking water is available through three hand pumps in Antelope Campground. There is no water at Antelope Annex Campground. No garbage service - pack it in, pack it out.
Open dates: Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. May open a week earlier, and stay open until the second Sunday in October, weather permitting.
