Cloverleaf Campground and Big Creek Group Area

    Cloverleaf Campground has 16 single family sites, two double family sites and is located across from Big Creek Group Area in St. Charles Canyon. There are opportunities nearby for hiking and fishing.

        $17 per night

        $7 for day use

        $5 per extra vehicle

    Double Site
        $28 per night

        $12 for day use
        $5 per extra vehicle
    Big Creek Group Area:
        $64 for up to 50 people

        $98 for 51-75 people
        $130 for 76-100 people

Directions: Take U.S. 89 north from Garden City, Utah, or south from Montpelier, Idaho, to St. Charles. Drive eight miles west from St. Charles along Forest Road 412 (Minnetonka Cave Road) to the campground entrance. Big Creek is on the right, Cloverleaf is on the left.  See map below.

Open Dates:  Memorial weekend to one week after Labor Day, weather permitting.

Amenities: Flush toilets, drinking water.  Garbage service available in a pullout just over 2 miles down the canyon.

Nearby: A small spring, which flows through the campground, emerges from the mountain a couple of hundred yards upstream. Bear Lake Utah State Park Marina is eight miles from the campground and offers access to the boating and fishing opportunities on one of the Intermountain West's largest natural lakes. Scenic Canyons also offers tours of Forest Service-owned Minnetonka Cave, a few miles west. There is also nearby access to the Highline Trail, a 55-mile trail along the backbone of a mountain range. The trail is open to hikers, bikers, horses and motorcycles.
