Due to ongoing tree removal, Kit Price Campground will be closed for the 2019 season.
Kit Price Campground is located adjacent to the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River, with river access trails from the campground. It is located approximately 66 miles northeast of the city of Coeur d’Alene, ID. The campground includes 3 campground loops with 53 campsites. The elevation is 2,550 feet. Campsites are in a wooded area, though recently some tree removal has occurred - many large grand fir trees were diseased and dying, and needed to be removed for safety reasons.

Directions: From Coeur d’Alene, travel east on Interstate 90 to the Kingston Exit #43. Follow the paved Forest Service Road #9 north for 26 miles, then continue 11 miles north of the small town of Prichard on Forest Road #208. The campground will be on the right. See map below.
Open Dates: Opens a week before Memorial Day weekend (on Friday), closes the fourth Monday in September.
Amenities: Drinking water, vault toilets, trash collection. Roads and parking spurs are paved.
Nearby: Fishing, tubing, swimming and kayaking on the North Fork Coeur d'Alene River are popular summertime activities. Rafters like to head downstream for the class I-III rapids. The Shoshone RV dump station is three miles away.
