Montpelier Ranger District
Since 2002, Scenic Canyons has operated tours and concessions at Minnetonka Cave, under special use permit from the Montpelier Ranger District. In 2007, that special use permit was expanded to include campgrounds in St. Charles Canyon, and in 2013 it was further expanded to include 7 additional campgrounds.
