North Fork Campground
North Fork Campground offers dispersed camping and is located at the North Fork Trailhead in St. Charles Canyon. There are opportunities nearby for hiking and fishing.

Reservations: A few of the sites can be reserved as a group site at www.recreation.gov.
Directions: Take U.S. 89 north from Garden City, Utah, or south from Montpelier, Idaho, to St. Charles. Drive west from St. Charles along Minnetonka Cave Road (Forest Road 412) about 8 miles. The campground is on the right, just after Cloverleaf Campground and Big Creek Group Area.
Open Dates: Memorial weekend to one week after Labor Day, weather permitting.
Amenities: Vault toilet, drinking water. Garbage service available in a pullout about 2.5 miles down the canyon.
Nearby: The campground is at the North Fork Trailhead, which is open to motorcycles, horses, hikers and bikes. Bear Lake Utah State Park Marina is eight miles from the campground and offers access to the boating and fishing opportunities on Bear Lake, one of the Intermountain West's largest natural lakes. Scenic Canyons also offers tours of Forest Service-owned Minnetonka Cave, a few miles west.
