Porcupine Campground has 15 single family sites, one double family site and one small group area, and is located on the banks of St. Charles Creek in St. Charles Canyon. There are opportunities nearby for hiking and fishing.

Directions: Take U.S. 89 north from Garden City, Utah, or south from Montpelier, Idaho, to St. Charles. Drive seven miles west from St. Charles along Forest Road 412 to the campground entrance. See map below.
Open Dates: Memorial weekend to one week after Labor Day, weather permitting.
Amenities: Flush toilets, drinking water. A trailer for garbage is located about 1.5 miles down the canyon.
Nearby: St. Charles Creek flows through the campground and offers good fishing for cutthroat trout. Bear Lake Utah State Park Marina is eight miles from the campground and offers access to the boating and fishing opportunities on one of the Intermountain West's largest natural lakes. Scenic Canyons also offers tours of Forest Service-owned Minnetonka Cave, a few miles west. There is also nearby access to the Highline Trail, a 55-mile trail along the backbone of a mountain range. The trail is open to hikers, bikers, horses and motorcycles.
