St. Charles Campground
St. Charles Campground has five single family sites and one reservable group area, and is located on the banks of St. Charles Creek in St. Charles Canyon. There are opportunities nearby for hiking and fishing.

Reservations: The group area can be reserved at www.recreation.gov. Single sites are available on a first come, first served basis.
Directions: Take U.S. 89 north from Garden City, Utah, or south from Montpelier, Idaho, to St. Charles. Drive three miles west from St. Charles along Forest Road 412 to the campground entrance. See map below.
Amenities: Flush toilets, drinking water. Garbage service is available in a pullout about 2.5 miles up the canyon.
Nearby: St. Charles Creek flows through the campground and offers good fishing for cutthroat trout. Bear Lake Utah State Park Marina is eight miles from the campground and offers access to boating and fishing opportunities on Bear Lake, one of the Intermountain West's largest natural lakes. Scenic Canyons also offers tours of Forest Service-owned Minnetonka Cave, a few miles west. There is also nearby access to the Highline Trail, a 55-mile trail along the backbone of a mountain range. The trail is open to hikers, bikers, horses and motorcycles.
