Agua Piedra Campground

Agua Piedra Campground is on NM 518 next to the Rio Pueblo near Tres Ritos, NM. There are 47 tent and RV sites and two group shelters. The group sites are available for reservations.
Prices:
$20 per night
$5 per extra vehicle
$10 for day use
$100 Group Shelter A (up to 50 people)
$125 Group Shelter B (up to 100 people)
Reservations: Available thru recreation.gov. The group shelters can be reserved one year before the first day of your camping stay. All other sites can be reserved six months in advance of your first day.
Directions: Agua Piedra Campground is near mile post 50 on NM 518 between Penasco and Mora, New Mexico. See map below.
Amenities: Vault toilets, trash collection. Drinking water in the lower loop only.
Open dates: Opens one week before Memorial Day weekend. Closes two weeks after Labor Day.
Nearby: Fishing, hunting and hiking are available nearby. Additional campgrounds are managed by Scenic Canyons on the Carson National Forest.
