Do you like working with people and living in the outdoors? Do you own a hard sided trailer? Perhaps you're a workamper? We'd love to have you as part of our team.

 

We have camp hosting opportunities throughout the Western United States. We manage campgrounds in beautiful forested mountains, many of which are near lakes or rivers. Each spot is unique and carries with it various opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating, or scenic drives.

To be a Campground Manager, you must be able to:

  • Have own trailer for living quarters 

  • Live on site in the designated host site in their management area. 

  • Provide information and assistance to guests to insure a quality recreational experience.

  • See that all fees are collected for facility use.

  • Administer reservations daily.

  • Clean restrooms daily and make an additional walk through inspections to insure restrooms are clean and supplied.

  • Police camp sites for litter and wash tables after visitors leaves

  • Do light maintenance duties, such as paint tables, replace light bulbs, etc.

  • Sell firewood and other approved items

  • Monitor and encourage compliance with rules and regulations

  • First Aid & CPR Training is encouraged.

  • Training will be provided. Must attend a training session prior to starting the job.

  • Most tools and supplies needed will be furnished.

Available Positions

Any hours associated with these positions are either split between a couple if a couple is hired or all for one person if a single person is hired. If any of these positions interest you, please get in touch so we can tell you more about them. 

 

Peak hours are for weeks that fall between the last week of June, all of July, and all of August. Non peak are all other weeks. If you know anyone else looking for a position, please pass this information along.

 

Idaho (Coeur d'Alene Area)

Devils Elbow & Big Hank Host: Devils’ Elbow Campground is located adjacent to the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River, with river access trails from the campground. It is located approximately 69 miles northeast of the city of Coeur d’Alene, ID.  Devil’s Elbow is in a wooded setting and consists of 20 individual campsites and a group site for up to 50 people and a maximum of 14 vehicles.

Beauty Creek Host: Beauty Creek Campground is located approximately 15 miles southeast of Coeur d’Alene, ID.  It has 19 sites and a pavilion that groups can rent for day use.  A few of the picnic tables at sites have covered shelters since they are in an open meadow.  The campground is located along the intermittent Beauty Creek.

Honeysuckle Host: Honeysuckle campground is situated in a remote, wooded setting at the confluence of Deception Creek and the Little North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River, 22 miles from Coeur d’Alene, ID.  It has seven sites.

Colorado (Near South Fork):

Park Creek & Tucker Ponds host: Park Creek has a single loop with 17 campsites including the host site. Two of the sites are double sites. The campground also has 2 double vault toilets and water provided at 1 hand-pump. The host site has a sewer dump. Memorial Day through Labor Day.
