Do you like working with people and living in the outdoors? Do you own a hard sided trailer? Perhaps you're a workamper? We'd love to have you as part of our team.

 

We have camp hosting opportunities throughout the North Western United States. We manage campgrounds in beautiful forested mountains, many of which are near lakes or rivers. Each spot is unique and carries with it various opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating, or scenic drives.

To be a Campground Manager, you must be able to:

  • Have own travel trailer, rv, motorhome, or class b van for living quarters 

  • Live on site in the designated host site in their management area. 

  • Provide information and assistance to guests to insure a quality recreational experience.

  • See that all fees are collected for facility use.

  • Administer reservations daily.

  • Clean restrooms daily and make an additional walk through inspections to insure restrooms are clean and supplied.

  • Police camp sites for litter and wash tables after visitors leaves

  • Do light maintenance duties, such as paint tables, replace light bulbs, empty trash containers, etc.

  • Sell firewood and other approved items

  • Do an interpretive program 3 or more times a season

  • Monitor and encourage compliance with rules and regulations

  • First Aid & CPR Training is encouraged.

  • Training will be provided. Must attend a training session prior to starting the job.

  • Most tools and supplies needed will be furnished.

Any hours associated with these positions are either split between a couple if a couple is hired or all for one person if a single person is hired. If any of these positions interest you, please get in touch so we can tell you more about them. 

 

Peak hours are for weeks that fall between the last week of June, all of July, and all of August. Non peak are all other weeks. If you know anyone else looking for a position, please pass this information along.

 

Idaho (Coeur d'Alene Area):

Bumblebee Campground (reside here) & Honeysuckle CG (drive to here) Bumblebee Campground is located at the confluence of Bumblebee Creek and the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River.  It is 38 miles from the city of Coeur d’Alene, ID.  Bumblebee consists of two loops in a forested setting.  The east loop has 12 campsites and the host site.  The west loop may be used as 11 single sites. Recently has been logged and we are determining what we will do for the 2024 season. Honeysuckle is currently 7 sites that are fcfs. May become a group site for 2024.

Outlet at Priest Lake (Host):Outlet Campground is located on the west shore of Priest Lake.  It has 28 sites spread across three loops.  Some sites are heavily wooded, while others are in more open areas.  The campground has a swim beach with an area enclosed with swim buoys which is accessed by a steep trail.

Sam Owen Roving Host: Sam Owen Campground is located on a peninsula on the eastern shore of Pend Oreille Lake.  It has 82 sites with a mix of cedar, pines, & meadow.  There is a day use area with 18 picnic sites, paved parking lot, and a large beach and swimming area.  Part of the beach is pet friendly.  A group picnic area can accommodate up to 50 people.  A pavilion is also available for up to 50 people, and has electricity available.  A boat launch is located between the campground and day use area.  Near the day use area is an interpretive station with maps and historical information.

Washington (Colville Area)

Edgewater Campground has 20 sites and is perched along the banks of the Pend Oreille River in the Colville National Forest. The quiet, family-friendly campground attracts visitors who come for boating, hiking and fishing. The picturesque area, surrounded by cedar, hemlock and Douglas fir, boasts views of the Selkirk Mountains.
