Fawn Lakes Campground

As of June 12, this campground is open. We strive diligently to keep our facilities disinfected, but cannot guarantee our facilities are 100% free of coronavirus. Please bring your own hand sanitizer, and if you are feeling ill, help protect other campers and our employees by staying home.

A Food Storage Order is currently in place at this location. All food, cooking supplies, coolers, and personal hygiene products must be placed in a hard sided trailer or vehicle. Please put food away, even if you are in camp. Current drought conditions are drawing bears to the area and food, food smells, and other attractants can draw them in. Please do your part in keeping yourself and others safe by keeping a clean site. All garbage should be removed from your site immediately to the dumpsters. You can view the full order here.

Fawn Lakes Campground lies along the banks of the Red River near the bustling resort town of Red River, N.M. Red River hosts several events throughout the summer, from the Memorial Day weekend motorcycle rally to October's celebration of the fall colors. Fawn Lakes has 18 units, 10 of which are RV friendly.

Fawn Lakes is named for two man-made ponds that are well-stocked with trout through the summer months.
