Sam Owen Paddle Board Rental - Full day

Service Description

Reserve your paddle board(s) for use on Pend Oreille Lake at Sam Owen Campground. A life jacket will be provided. This reservation allows you to rent the Paddleboard for 8 hours. Your 8 hours start at the time you made the reservation for (example: book at 8 am, the time starts at 8 am. If you show up at 8:30 you only get it for 7.5 hours). An additional $10 per vehicle fee is required to park in the day use area. Campsites cost $26 per night. When you arrive: Bring your confirmation email to the Welcome Center (a building in the day use area of Sam Owen). A camp host will help you get started. You will be required to sign the Equipment Rental Agreement, and leave a drivers license and credit card information with the camp host. Upon return of the paddle board, your drivers license and the paper with your credit card number will be returned to you. Rules: • SCRS will only rent during daylight hours. Anyone renting a boat must be off the water by 8:00 p.m. or one half-hour after sundown, whichever is earlier. • SCRS will not rent during storms, high winds or bad weather - your reservation may be cancelled or rescheduled. If a storm comes up renters must get off the lake as soon as possible. • The watercraft can only be used on the lake at which it is rented. Transporting a watercraft to another lake is not allowed. • You must be 18 years of age or older to rent. • Persons 12 through 17 years of age may operate a watercraft but must be under direct supervision of a responsible person who is at least 18 years of age. Direct supervision means supervision within sight at a distance in which the adult responsible for the young boat operator can maintain visual contact. • Idaho law says there must be at least one properly sized U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket for each person aboard a vessel. Life jackets must be readily accessible and not in an out-of-reach location or in original packaging. Children under 13 years of age are required to wear their life jacket. • You must not overfill the boat capacity for people (1 person per paddle board). • Drinking or being drunk while operating a boat is prohibited.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel, $2 of your fee is NOT refundable. To cancel, please email us at info@sceniccanyons.com at least 24 hours in advance. Please include the location, date, time & length (4 hours or full day) of your reservation, the date you booked your reservation, and the name you used when booking (replying to your confirmation email is the easiest way to do this - it has all the information we need).
