Silver Thread Campground
Silver Thread Campground consists of 10 sites. A few sites are located near the entrance and highway 149; however, the core area of the campground is a loop which sits back off the highway in an aspen/mixed conifer forest. The campground is along South Clear Creek. The elevation is 9,300 ft.

Directions: Silver Thread campground is located in Hinsdale County, 25 miles from Creede, Colorado on the Silver Thread Scenic Byway, Hwy 149. The campground entrance is located on an inside curve along Hwy 149 and can come up quickly for drivers. See map below.

Open dates: Memorial Day to Labor Day, weather permitting.
