Sam Owen Campground (in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests) offers a Pavilion for day use that will accommodate a group up to 50 people. There is also an adjoining picnic area for an additional 50 people for those larger weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, anniversary and graduation celebrations or just a gathering of friends. The Pavilion offers electric plug ins, lights, as well as BBQ grills. Kayak and paddle boards are available to rent for use on the lake - you can even reserve them ahead of time on our website.
These day use areas are closed until May 20, but reservations are currently available for all of next summer through recreation.gov. So if you're planning a large party for next summer, come and join us!
