The campgrounds located in the Ruby Mountains Ranger District are in the East Humboldt and Ruby Mountain Ranges. These mountains contain spectacular scenery and a variety of recreational activities. This district covers approximately 450,000 acres with elevations ranging from 6,000 to 11,387 feet at Ruby Dome.

The Ruby Mountains Ranger District hosts 6 majestic campgrounds and facilities in Northern Nevada. You'll be surprised when you find yourselves in an oasis of pine trees, lakes, and streams in the desert of Northern Nevada.
